Find The Sniper – Episode 6 – HD

Tuesday, February 2nd, 2016

ilikeairsoft.com and AirsoftUtah present, Find the Sniper Episode 6.  Back for the first time in 2015 is the series that features Airsoft sniper “K-factor”. Also known for his sniper cams on his ever growing YouTube channel: kfactor39, http://www.youtube.com/kfactor39

This episode was filmed near a silver mining town in northern Utah.  Many games are hosted by many different Airsoft teams on this field which includes foundations and ruins of a once thriving mining operation, thus dubbed by airsofters as “Silver City”.

The idea of the video series: “Find the Sniper” is that the sniper always has a clear view of the camera lens that is filming him, he isnt just dug down into the ground deep under a bush not facing you, so in essence he can see you the viewer. With exception to one time where we simulated an angle where someone would have inadvertently walked up on the sniper, so he had to turn around to take a shot.  So will you see him before he takes a shot?  Sort of the fun I hope people get out of watching.

Airsoft Featured Player – 2-Shoes

Friday, May 16th, 2014

I found 2-Shoes to be a great team player.  Also found him coming out of the shadows at us as the enemy a couple times and was surprised.  His technique of holding his shotgun as an arm guard during a knife attacked also seemed like a cool idea.

Airsoft Game – Operation Tex Special, A SOAP Journal

Thursday, June 9th, 2011

I was able to squeak in some editing the past few days and cut together some footage taken from my cousin Micheal aka SOAP who went out on mission for me to gather intel on an airsoft game since I wouldn’t be able to be there.  His helmet cam captured many action packed events while traversing Provo Utah’s jungle AO; nick named Foundation Hill.  You’ll be able to see why the AO has such a name by watching the video.  From the looks of the footage there seemed to be allot of new players coming out of the woodwork with the coming nicer weather.  The following footage has been edited down from a packed SD card full of game play for your viewing pleasure.  SOAP aka Micheal along with his squad BOOTS and ACOG, among others, trek along Foundations back country for that “righteous kill”.

BTA Airsoft Game – Operation Thermopylae

Friday, May 13th, 2011

I am running a week behind on videos and do apologize.  Operation Thermopylae took place on April 30th, 2011, which was also Black Thorn Airsoft‘s birthday so to speak.  This is a new field or area of operations to the group and to most airsofters in the area as well.  The field consists of many sloping areas, being in the northern west desert of Utah it is covered with sagebrush, ceder and juniper trees, but the coolest feature by far is the roughly 30 by 30 foot tunnel carved into one of the hills that extends 300 feet or more from one side of the field to the other.  During the last couple games one team defended a captive while the other side had to go and rescue him or her. the opposite team were given two riot type shields in which were used to breach the tunnel and ended up just being a distraction for both teams, but it was still quite fun nonetheless.

Also, can you guys please comment, rate and even subscribe to my youtube channel, help a fellow airsofter out, it makes me want to do more when I see comments, thumbs up and stuff like that, Thanks!  😀

Operation End Run – a Black Thorn Airsoft Game

Thursday, May 5th, 2011

I finally finished a video for the Black Thorn Airsoft game held at Hobble Creek in northern Utah a few weeks back under the operation title “End Run”.  This video didn’t feature a whole lot more than a hero shot of me shooting my KM4A1 at rather high cycle rates.  It was slightly difficult to edit seeing how there isn’t a microscope on the myriad of things happening on an airsoft field at one given time, but rather a 170 degree angle of the Forrest floor, my gun and maybe something way off in the distance, which is actually only 25 or so feet away.  Oh yeah and during the funnest game in my opinion; I didn’t hit the ol’ record button on my GoPro because I was busy getting my snipe on.  Which by the way, during that game I was able to take a guy out as well as his buddy moments later as he arrived behind him, oh yeah, and the medic that came to save them both.  Just have to brag a little about that just cause I’ve never accomplished that before and thought it was way cool.  Once those three were down a fourth came up between his downed men using them as body shields and managed to get a glancing blow to the side of my head; “Booyah!” I heard after I called my hit, you guys know who you are, although I don’t even know who I had ambushed.
