I like Airsoft, com presents Airsoft Featured Player: Ghost.

This is the second video made featuring “Ghost” and his load out kit.  Being in the desert he chooses the DCU or tri color desert camouflage.

He is a team leader and founder of the Black Thorn Airsoft group.

Ghost is also known for his jaw dropping costume creations made from E.V.A. foam and various other recycled items.

His fan art costumes include the Iron Man “Mark 1′, “Mark 42”, “War Machine”, Halo’s “Master Chief” and other pretty amazing art pieces such as Gurdians of the Galaxy’s “Groot”.

Ghost also works in video and film productions in various positions such as prop master and crafts some pretty realistic and visually pleasing weapon creations for modern and science fiction movies.

Z-Tactical Comms Gear Review – Airsoft Peak

Monday, October 27th, 2014

The following review is brought to you by combat gear, AEG parts and accessories with a target to offer top quality products with lower prices and best service to you.

The Z-Tactical bowman style EVO 3 is a communications headset that is designed with a dual sided boom mic that can be worn under a helmet and co-exist with your goggle system easily.

There are three adjustable straps which allow for a comfortable and stable fit. The ear cup is padded and ventilated with an opening at the top and bottom so hearing is not obstructed from natural surroundings.

The microphone consists of a flexible steel boom and other polymer parts. The integrated flat-head connector makes it easy to configure for left AND right ear operation.

To accompany this headset, we chose the wireless PTT adapter by Z-Tactical. This product includes the PTT control unit and a wireless remote switch. The PTT operates as a normal push to talk operated controller but also features a wireless remote that attaches to any Picatinny or Weaver rail mounts without the need of a tool.

The push to talk control unit operates without the need of a battery and can be used by itself in conjunction with the radio and headset. By adding a CR123 battery into the PTT control unit and the included CR1220 watch type battery into the remote control you now add a second push to talk option that can be controlled wirelessly mounted to your weapon.

The Z-Tacitcal PTT unit comes with a heavy duty gator style clip that can be attached to the back with included Velcro and worn easily on vests or chest rigs.

With this communications equipment setup properly you won’t have to take your support hand away from your weapon during any tense moment in order to communicate.

“I Like” and “AirsoftUtah” would like to thank Airsoft Peak for supplying us with this gear for review!

Visit: for this and many other Airsoft related tactical items.

Notes: Thinking about one quick thing after I’ve been able to decompress from making this video is that the wireless remote control part that fits on your rail mounts, the fact that it doesn’t need a tool is cool, however, it could probably be knocked off with a good bump, or if you are going prone often, which I do now and then being out here in Utah one has to be low enough below the junipers to get those leg shots.  I personally have not yet had the experiance of going prone or being in a heavy engagement with this equipped and who knows, maybe it would hold up, just be advised 😉 Anyone have any notes or experiences with this equipment yet? let me know on Facebook.

Rhodesian Revolt 2014 – Massive Airsoft Event

Thursday, August 14th, 2014

Weapon Blender Airsoft and the brothers who run the place, namely Kelly and Travis Monson put on this large, once a year Airsoft event called the Rhodesian Revolt. More on the event can be found on their website at

About 230 people showed up to the event encompassing the Coalition, BRG (Black River Group) and the Rebels known as the 5th column. The first day consisted of arriving to check in, chono’ing guns, getting camping situated, receiving maps and and various tid bits of info. Then that night everyone met together in the neutral zone(so to speak) to hear command speak and to get teams and rules situated. Then in the morning, BRG and Fifth Column left to their prospective base command areas for training or whatever they did and coalition was still in essentially the neutral zone training with their squads for each assignment: Assault, Support, Engineer, Sniper and Medic. Utah’s Army National Guard was on hand to give the coalition players training in formation and squad tactics as well as drive Humvees during game play for the two day event.

After training in all the MOS, equipment and comms, coalition packed all their gear into the military vehicles and started their journey to the forward operating base in hostile territory. This video account follows Delta squad from training and into battle.

Please subscribe so you can catch the rest in this series and for more Airsoft featured players and game videos.

Awesome Airsoft Sniper – Snipe-O-Rama

Monday, June 30th, 2014

— The event was Snipe-O-Rama, held by the Black Thorn Airsoft group. To those curious, I think I may need to clarify for those who actually read any of this. Airsoft Utah and are not affiliated with any airsoft team or group, we are a small collective that like to play airsoft and create airsoft related videos, we also like to play quite a bit with BTA. Now that this is clearer than mud.

In the video we find K-factor searching for his sniping home. He explains a little to us the viewer about what his methods are, but he can’t explain them all, they are his secrets. So the rest of the time we watch him, observing a bit of his technique here and there, maybe perceiving his patience watching his movements.

The footage was a combination of sniper scope video donated by K-factor and the rest by myself (Green)

Please like, comment and share anything you have enjoyed, thanks!

The following are snippets from an AAR (After Action Report) given by “Trooper” who is a team leader from Black Thorn Airsoft.

This year our annual sniper game attracted over sixty players and as always it was a pleasure having you all there!

Additional and special thanks for all of your patience during the moose encounter. Just after the start of the second game of the day, four of us were just moving out when we nearly ran into a moose cow and her calf. We had to move players off the field and call out the hidden snipers before EVER SO CAREFULLY coaxing Mrs. Moose to take here babe and move on. With luck Sparky got some great footage!

The games:

Game 1) BTA’s usual Two-Team Team Death Match to get everyone accustomed to the field and warmed up for the days games.

Game 2) SNIPE-O-RAMA Round-1: Two teams did battle to eliminate each other while snipers stalked the field. The first two snipers out were eliminated from the competition.

Game 3) SNIPE-O-RAMA Round-2: Eight teams of at least five members wearing balloons had to patrol a road twice while snipers tried to pop their specific balloon color. Two snipers eliminated their targets.

Game 4) SNIPE-O-RAMA Round-3: in the final round, the two successful snipers from round two along with two spotters each had to approach a defended clearing and eliminate their own colored balloons to reveal poker chips inside. After a few pitched battles, with minutes to spare, Redneck moved in close and eliminated two balloons for victory!

It was hot, we shot and were shot, snipers were sneaky, and there was even a moose! By the time we were done we had a winner! Everyone please join us in congratulating Redneck for winning BTA’s Operation: “SNIPE-O-RAMA — 2013” Sniper-Of-The-Year!

Airsoft Featured Player – Iron Sight

Friday, April 5th, 2013

Please give airsoft a like on facebook:

Iron Sight is the featured player for this last week in March.  I noticed he had a pretty cool looking loadout plus during game play he had a pretty darn sweet thunder bee kill.  He landed a thunder bee in a group of about 4 guys in a last stand bunker situation.

Please comment, thumbs up and subscribe.
