Rhodesian Revolt 2014 – 2016 – Episode 4 – The Forgotten Files

Saturday, March 19th, 2016

For two years the “Forgotten Files” have been sleeping dormant within an old dusty hard drive buried deep under one of the bunks out at Weapon Blenders Sand Box in a lonely corner of the forward operating base.

A mine sweeper from delta squad uncovered it recently revealing many files that have now been edited into something that sort of resembles a story.  Is all of this fact? Not at all. However, besides the REAL fact that these forgotten files have now been cohesively edited into something resembling entertainment. It’s done! and I’m excited and happy to finally bring it to you guys. Enjoy it!

Airsoft Journalist Gets Lost in the Desert – AirsoftUtah

Tuesday, January 20th, 2015 presents a Black Thorn Airsoft game.  Operation: “Trick-or-Treat”.  The games started intense, then all of a sudden I found my self alone and walking, and walking quite a bit, I was left to the desolation of Utah’s extreme desert conditions.  At my most alone moments I could not hear anything but the breeze. Finally the faint sound of squeaking motors on several AEG’s.  But I soon realized that the troops I had come across were in the same situation I was just in, and the search continued.

This game was hosted by Black Thorn Airsoft

Airsoft Featured Player – 2-Shoes

Friday, May 16th, 2014

I found 2-Shoes to be a great team player.  Also found him coming out of the shadows at us as the enemy a couple times and was surprised.  His technique of holding his shotgun as an arm guard during a knife attacked also seemed like a cool idea.

Airsoft Featured Player – Michael

Tuesday, April 15th, 2014

I met Michael during an airsoft game. There were four of us that kindof grouped up randomly during some fire fights and turned out to be a good decision. We setup several successful ambushes and were also on the hunt. His team building and communication skills were a welcome addition to the day of tactics.

Comic Con 2013 – I Like – Highlights

Thursday, September 12th, 2013

Comic Con 2013 in Salt Lake City Utah was a blast! it was a first for our state and we knew there would be some interest but didn’t know it would explode with as much enthusiasm for cosplay and geekdome that it did. I Like Airsoft was along for the ride. Shades escorts us through the exhibit hall in this video to find some interesting characters with great results! From “Cosplayers” to tactical operators, oh yeah and some pretty good lookin’ chicks are found along the way.

Also, Our new friends at “Operation Underground Railroad” gave us some information about their new organization and also invite us to join in their fight against child sex slavery. More information on their organization can be found at their websites:

In addition there may be a quickie featured player near the end of the video 😉 so stay tuned for that one. ( This video isn’t fully “Airsoft” I know, but we love to report on cool stuff such as this, and this happens to be something we enjoy. We challenge those who don’t know much about Airsoft but are competitive and enjoy learning new tactics to investigate this awesome, growing and somewhat underground sport)
