Raw Airsoft Battle Uncut – Operation Trick-Or-Treat

Tuesday, February 2nd, 2016

Zombie Clown Commandos and Tactical Bananas were seen on the battlefront at Black Thorn Airsoft’s Operation “Trick-or-Treat”.

Of course lots off BB’s slung, and I’d say the majority by “Cowboy”, it was his birthday after all so I thought gratuitous Cowboy/M249 Bravo coverage was in order. Happy Birthday mah friend!

You can see more videos featuring “Cowboy” here!

Operation Battlefield 2013 – Aerial Airsoft Footage

Friday, September 20th, 2013

Operation Battlefield 2013 took place at Hill Airforce Base in Utah hosted by the one9 airsoft team.  Joint operations included other teams such as Black Thorn Airsoft, Utah County Airsoft, Black Ops Elite and of course the one9.

This event was also in efforts to help the Operation Homefront orginazation.

Operation Homefront provides emergency financial and other assistance to the families of our service members and wounded warriors. A national nonprofit, Operation Homefront leads more than 6,500 volunteers across a network of field offices, and has met more than 740,000 needs since 2002. A four-star rated charity by watchdog Charity Navigator, and with an A rating by the American Philanthropy Institute, 94 percent of all donations to Operation Homefront goes to its programs. For more information about Operation Homefront, please visit:  https://www.operationhomefront.net/

This Aerial airsoft footage was made possible by piloting the DJI Phantom along with the Go Pro Hero 3 Black edition and a vibration isolation mounting unit.  Piloting in FPV mode (or in First Person View) was accomplished using the “Fat Shark” predator  V2 goggles.

Airsoft Game – Operation: Eagle Claw

Wednesday, October 12th, 2011

Operation Eagle Claw was held on September 17th 2011.  Football season was responsible for some of the influence on games during this operation which included rushing a street cone to one side of the field and when shot the cone would drop with the player holding it and picked up by another.  Along with the football type games were the POW games.  When hit by the enemy, a player would march to the enemy’s POW camp until another one of their team members would tag you back in.  This normally ended up with the entire team getting freed in one large chaotic motion.  If you look at the annotations at the end of the video you will notice that both videos are shot at that same op.  You will see that pattern in most of my uploads, a game video, a featured player and some other fun video like find the sniper in the one operational day.  Please don’t forget to Rate, Comment and Subscribe to my YouTube channel so we can all see “ilikeaisoft.com” put on more of these videos.  You guys are the ones that keep me doing this and I appreciate it very mucho!

Behind the Scenes – Sidewinder

Wednesday, September 28th, 2011

Here is a little look at the making of some of “Operation Sidewinder – Intense Warefare”.  Coming to you for the first time on camera and a bit hesitantly to be honest, I never really wanted to be on camera but thought maybe I better so that I can change things up and make them interesting.  I get quite a few comments on youtube asking what I use to edit, what I use to film, what 3d program I use, so ill explain it all right here as well as in the video and ill start from the video production.  I shoot on a Canon T2i, I have several lenses, the one I use during games is the 18-200mm f3.5-5.6.  I also use Canon’s 10-22mm f3.5-5.6 when I am filming Airsoft featured player for those close up gear shots and wide spinny’ ones, I also use that lens for the Find the Sniper videos.  I edit my video using Apple’s Final Cut Pro and for motion graphics I use Apple’s Motion.  For 3d animation I use Kinemac (made only for Mac).  For the music I buy licensed copies of Digital Juice’s Music Box and Stack Traxx which are also known as canned music or royalty free music, with a license of course (you just pay for it).  Well, here it is, hope you enjoy.  Please visit the AirsoftUtah youtube page, Comment, Rate and Subscribe. Thanks!

Airsoft Game – Operation: “Sidewinder”

Wednesday, September 7th, 2011

August 13, 2011, Operation Sidewinder threw down with some intense airsoft fighting.  Players brought F15 fighter jets and lots of napalm, I was like doooood!  Ok, maybe that isn’t the complete truth, but sometimes I think we airsofters imagine such things.  I thought I would try to bring some of my imaginations to life, just a little bit.  Like I mention in the “Warning”, the graphics are mediocre at best, but didn’t have the time to perfect any of them.  I thought I should change up the normal routine a little bit and try out some of my new action essentials graphics and incorporate them into the video.  I wanted to add at least one effect to each shot, but it ended up taking way too long so I had to include shots without any effects to sort of tie some the time-line together.  All together I estimate I have probably spent over 14 hours on this video, more than I would probably want to admit, but it has been a really fun learning experience because I’m not really a graphics guy, however I’m glad it’s been somewhat of a new adventure for me.  Hopefully I will be able to have additional time to learn more about the motion graphics department and share all my findings with you guys in the form of some cool action.  I hope you guys enjoy, please visit my youtube channel, Rate, Comment and Subscribe.   Also, favorite this video if you liked it so that it can be moved up in search results, thanks for your continued support, AirsoftUtah is now at 400 subscribers, woohoo! you guys rock! please continue to tell your friends about my channel.
